The Art Project Myrdammen is an permanent outdoor installation, placed in Østmarka, a forested area to the east of Oslo . The art installation is part of the Rælingen Municipality art collection.
The Opening Ceremony: The unveiling and speech was hold by Mayor Gro Langdalen. The event was very successful, Sunday the 27th of October – 2024.
“Myrdammen has become a magnificent facility in Rælingen for walking, recreation, nature, fishing, canoeing, swimming , games and experiences. The Harry Hole film was shot here this autumn and today it was time to unveil a large work of art. Art in public places exists to create experiences, increase well-being and create interest in art and make the municipality`s art collection available to the citizens. It is with great pleasure for me to take part in unveiling a new attraction together with our great contemporary artist Tore Hogstvedt. And what a great spectacle. Take the trip and dream away and maybe you will be able to find the place the subject is from. Thanks to everyone who came and made this a great experience. And congratulations to Tore Hogstvedt” – by Mayor Gro Langdalen, Rælingen Municipality
